Dr. Nick S. Edwards was one of the 20th century’s great statesman, preachers, and evangelists. His nonconformist and uncompromising, holiness preaching changed the lives of those whoever encountered or heard this mighty man of God. This maven was a great mentor of young preachers and encourager of the widow, the fatherless and youth. A man who effused and embodied orthopraxy, in word, homily and deed. He was a builder of men and ardent supporter of women achievements, in professionalism, missions and evangelism. An artificer of the Gospel, with a passion for biblical conviction, evangelism, and Spirit-Filled revival.Here is an awe-inspiring message presented before the great August body of MI Southwest First Jurisdiction on a Tuesday evening in 1990, where the late Bishop W. L. Harris was the State Prelate and Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, International President of the Music Department and State Minister of Music, was the musical accompanist that evening.
