Can you believe that Buffy Summers invented feminism years before I knew what feminism is?

When I watched this show for the first time I was like 12 or 13 years old (i'm not sure) so I didn't even realize how this show has portrayed strong females lead on my screen for the first time ever. Not only Buffy was and still is one my favorite show, but she was a badass heroine with a strong sense of humor, who sacrificed her own happiness to save the world multiple times. Honestly she's the most iconic character EVER. I'm proud to be part of that generation that has grown up watching this girl kicking men ass and showing that women can be as strong as men, sometimes even more.
