Calculate Normal Force & Maximum Velocity of a Car Driving Over a Hill | Centripetal Force

Описание к видео Calculate Normal Force & Maximum Velocity of a Car Driving Over a Hill | Centripetal Force

A 2000kg car traveling at a constant 20m/s passes over the top of a hill with a radius of 50m....

Knowing the mass of the car, velocity of the car, and radius of the hill; Solve for the normal force between a car and a circular hill as the car drives over the crest of the hill. We will also solve for the maximum velocity the car can travel over the top of the hill without becoming airborne.

This problem centers around applying centripetal force to Newton's Second Law.

This problem commonly comes up in high school and introductory physics courses.
