Mini MagLite LED 2-Cell AA SP2201HL Flashlight Review

The Mini MagLite LED SP2201HL is the standard powered 2-Cell AA version. I went with this one versus the Pro version because I noticed much longer run times with this conservative model. Is it worth saving the extra bucks? Yes it is :)

Features I like about this flashlight:
Smooth Design with Classic Lines.
127 Lumens for Eleven Hours.
Candle Mode.
32 Lumen Low for Twenty Five Hours.
Flasher and SOS modes.
Power Saving Feature. Light will switch modes when voltage drops.
Inexpensive.
Made in USA.
Ten Year Warranty.
Belt Holster.
Zoom Head Design.
Simple to Operate.
Beam is Narrow, great for distance.

Features that could be added or improved on:
A regulated circuit so NiMH will properly power the flashlight's High Mode consistently.
A higher IPX rating.

Overall, there are many flashlights on the market that compete and in many cases exceed the performance of this model. The silver lining is that it is Made in USA, carries a Ten Year warranty, and is affordably priced.
