Dan had a couple of really great bottles that needed to be put out of their misery so we decided to do that live! We also took a look at a new glass and compared it to some old favorites. We are sad to see that 2020 George T Stagg go as it's unlikely we'll ever taste it again and the odds aren't great either of us will get any GTS any time soon but we're grateful to have had a chance to enjoy this bottle and the 2019 GTS before it even if it wasn't as amazing. Saying goodby to the Lagavulin 16 isn't as traumatic as backups exist on our shelves and it is still readily available. It is so good so if you haven't tried it, don't hesitate to buy a bottle of one of the most sophisticated peated whiskies on the market.
