The history of the American Ranger is a long and colorful saga of courage, daring, and outstanding leadership. This week, 17 extraordinary Rangers were inducted into the United States Army Ranger Hall of Fame.

Hosted by The Airborne Ranger Training Brigade and the 75th Ranger Regiment, the 25th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honored Rangers from each era of Ranger history. The roster included Medal Of Honor and Silver Star recipients, those from other service branches, authors, and defense sector professionals. The inductees expressed how the regiment contributed to their lives as much as their service meant to the country.
Inductees are selected impartially from Ranger units and associations. They must be successful graduates of the US ARMY Ranger school, with meritorious service in their combat units and be deceased or separated or retired from active military service for at least three years. Since 1992, the Ranger Hall of Fame has recognized the contributions of America's most extraordinary Rangers.
