~~Post 5 last and most imp
🔶 *_English _* 🔶
💠 Introduction 💠
🔵 English is the most important part of Mdcat because mostly students ignore it and as far I have seen the toppers their English portion is full.
🔵 it's just 9% but almost 90% students fails to score in this section.
💠 Mindset 💠
♦️If you think I will leave English in choice and will make remaining subjects strong then apka Moye Moye hone Wala he for sure.
♦️My Etea-mdcat marks in English was 16/18 and the reason was I prepared it earlier(will share how, onwards) but After reconduct I ignored it thinking that it is easy and I am good at English and then KMU MDCAT me Mera bhi Moye Moye hogya I got 13/18. Btw Kmu me vocab bhi tough thi.
💠 Content of English 💠
♦️ ALMOST around 10 McQs in English are easy and can be covered if you properly studied your Fsc English book.
♦️But there are some McQs which is against our common sense and are exceptions for that you have to study rules for them.
💠 Memorizing rules for English 💠
♦️it is quit difficult to memorize. Even if you revise again and again still it is hard to memorize but don't worry I have a way 😏.
♦️My strategy was to focus more on examples rather than rule and practice and the benefit was that I was able to recall the rule by comparing the McQ with examples😏.
♦️For example you have studied a lot of sentences examples for 1st conditional. Now when face such McQ in Mdcat you will easily recall the example and hence will be able to compare example(rule) and the McQ and will easily point out the mistake or missing thing. Details are in video so must watch that on my channel with same name, after reading the post. Now coming towards important topics.
💠 Which topic are in syllabus and which to do 💠
♦️ In syllabus things aren't organized and mostly it is written that identify error in sentences based on your Hssc textbook and it's true most of the content is from your Fsc book but still English is a diverse subject to cover. So don't worry Qasim Bhai is here. Remember that it's impossible to determine precisely which topics are necessary as it depends on test but I will share my opinions here and if new ideas come Into my mind I will put them in my community. And in sab Kelie suggested lec ke SS mene video me dal diye Hein.
Important topics are
🔰Use of tenses (3-4 McQ)
🔰 Sequence of sentences(1-2) here location of verb/noun/preposition is changed. Simple common sense.
🔰 Conditionals (1-2), from Naseer Abbas lectures.
🔰 Error in sentences (3-4) error Maybe in singular/plural, Noun, Verb form(1st/2nd/3rd) etc. can be covered if you have studied your Fsc books. It's just Parts of speech
🔰 Prepositions (2-3), must study exceptions and important preps.
🔰 Vocabulary (2-3), daily memorize 5-10 words.
🔰 Articles (1-2) , study important cases and zero articles.
🔰 Punctuation (1-2).
🔰 Idioms for KMU
MDCAT.
🔰 Paragraph comprehension (1)
💠 Summary 💠
These are all my thoughts. So for error detection or filling blank you should have some background knowledge which will come from studying the rules. Rules will come into memory when you focus on examples I have explained this strategy better In video so don't miss it.
