Friday 18th September saw brands, agencies, and freelancers flock to Brighton Dome for the bi-annual natural search conference: Brighton SEO.

Sponsored by us, Pi Datametrics, Brighton SEO was once again hugely successful, with over 2000 people commuting from all over Europe to attend.

The two day event consisted of workshops, training sessions, and insightful talks from world-class speakers, on topics ranging from PPC strategy to video marketing.

At 9.40am in The Old Courtroom our CTO Jon Earnshaw took to the stage once more to discuss the effects of Stolen Content in Google.

Using the Pi Datametrics platform Jon showed real examples of a thief prospering in the SERPs as a result of their Stolen Content, and in turn demonstrated that Google isn't too great at dealing with this matter.

Jon turned into a bit of a thief, and stole content from impressive sites such as Econsultancy and Clickz, but still went on to succeed, and indeed supersede them in the SERPs.
