Pediatric Neuroradiology - Imaging of spinal dysraphisms... made easy

Описание к видео Pediatric Neuroradiology - Imaging of spinal dysraphisms... made easy

Another video in our series on pediatric neuroradiology! In this presentation we discuss embryology and malformations of the spinal cord. Spinal dysraphisms are congenital malformations of the spinal cord, caused by a disturbance of the normal embryological development of the spinal cord. Knowledge of the normal embyrology of the spinal cord is
crucial for understanding the pathogenesis and imaigng findings of these disorders. The topic might seem complex and a bit daunting at first, but at the end of this presentation I hope you'll be able to tell your lipomeningomyelocele from your diastematomyelia :).
