Hi guys and welcome back to another food recipe video. For an easy and delicious birria. Perfect for a dinner, for parties, get togethers, or to make ahead. Serve a bowl with rice and beans or make the popular quesa birrias. This recipe works great for a family or doubling the recipe. ♡ Ingredients ♡
☆ Birria ☆
• 1 Boneless Beef Cross Rib Roast
• 1 Beef Shanks
•6 Big Garlic Cloves
• Half of an Onion
• 3 Bay Leaves
• 6 Chile California
• 1 Pasilla
• Pickling Spice ( Half of the Package)
• Water
• 4 tbsp of Knorr Chicken Bouillon can add more or less
• 1 tomato

☆ Mexican Red Rice ☆
• 2 cups of rice
• 4 cups of hot water
• 1 tbsp of oil
• 1 Garlic clove or Garlic Powder
• Pinch of Black Pepper
•Tomato Sauce 8oz
• Knorr Chicken Bouillon to taste

☆ Salsa Ingredients ☆
• 15 Chile de Arbol
• Water
• One Big Garlic Clove
• Salt to taste ( I use 1 tsp )

☆ Salsa Recipe ☆
Wash Chiles and take stems off of 15 Chiles add to a pot and add water enough to cover them. Once boil add one big garlic clove. Add salt in the blender. You can either use cold water or use Chile boiled water and blend well.

☆ Birria Recipe ☆
Clean chiles by removing stems and seeds from the dry chiles. After wash the dry chiles and add hot water to a pot enough to cover the chiles and let the water boil. Once boil shut the heat off and set aside. Clean and cut your meat into 1-2 inches pieces. Trim as much fat as desired off the meat. In the blender add the soften 6 Chile California, 1 Pasilla, 2 cups of water from the chiles, 1 tomato, 6 big garlic cloves if small add double amount, 4 tbsp of Knorr Chicken Bouillon can add more or less, add
half of the Pickling Spice Mix, and blend. To a big pot add cut up beef pieces and bone. Add the Chile blended mixture no need to strain. Add half of an onion and 3 Bay Leaves. Fill the rest of the pot with water. Let the birria come to a boil once boiling set your heat to medium heat and place a lid. Let cook for a total of 3 hours. At the halfway point of cooking of one hour and thirty minutes check for water and taste for salt. If your birria needs more water add more hot water if you need more salt add more chicken bouillon. Let cook for the remaining time after 3 hours your birria is ready to serve and enjoy.
