Hi Lovelies!!

What is the difference between a Lace Front Closure and a Silk Base Closure? Here in this video, I will show you. This is the basics you will need to know.

What is a Closure?
A hair piece that is usually made of lace or silk, lace, in most cases, is used . It is used on a top of head when making a wig or hair piece with as scalp like appearance . This can also be sewn in to you hair (when corn rowed).

What is a Lace Front?
Hair strands are tied on a beige or brown lace. The lace is typically few inches wide and they are applied where the hair would have been left to give a natural look on heads that have wigs on. The closure gives an illusion of a part or scalp. be it at the center or side of the head’s front. Closures can be glued in place or sewn in. Lace closures lay flat against the head when applied properly. Normally where the hair is knotted you may see black dots where the scalp would be. This is where they knotted the strands of hair. Tweaking may be involved to blend seamlessly. Videos on 'How To's' will be included at end of this message.

NOTE: When bleaching knots this can only be done on *human hair that is 100%* It will NOT NOT NOT work on synthetic and any other blend fibers!!!

Silk Closure:
A silk base closure is made with a silk base. The silk closure has layer of silk , individual hair strands are embedded into the silk followed by a layer of lace to reinforce. The knots are not visible because they are embedded in silk. Very natural appearance- scalp-like!!!

In my video of another topper that I created, I used a Lace Closure , which I sewed in using a stocking cap. I the took wefts of hair and bonding glue to secure all.
