Making of Radiator Springs (

My Grandson loves all three Disney Pixar Cars movies, so I decided to build a replica of the town. Most items are Dollar store items - traffic cones (cozy Cone Motel), shelf liner ( road), pail ( Sarge's barracks), colander ( Filmores), popcicle sticks (Lizzies), neon fibre optics, misc bushes. I did purchase spark plugs and air filter at Car Part Store, various rubber tires at flea market. Some buildings created with scrap PVC sheet cut offs - Red's, Ramon's, Doc Hudson and abandoned buildings. Base stand constructed of 3/4" plywood with arches and vinyl graphics. LED lighting inside building fed from underside of table. Back drop at end behind Red's on 1/8" Aluminum composite sheet with Willie's Butte printed and laminated with LED down lighting. All graphics re-created using Coreldraw18 and printed with Roland Versacam 540i large format printer. Feel free to ask any questions in comments below.
