For the CHOCOLATE Lovers! Belmont Estate, Grenada 🇬🇩

As a lifelong chocolate lover, this is an absolute dream come true! I'm in Grenada at the famous Belmont Estate, learning about all things CHOCOLATE! From bean to bar, this 400 acre historical estate is one of the most beautiful places on the island. Sheldon gives us a tour of the grounds where I get to try many different fruits for the first time like the "fat pork" and the "pois doux" and the powerful "bergamot". We meet a chatty Parrot named Rainbow, sample some organic goat cheese, then join Kelly for a journey through the cacao farm to see where all this amazing chocolate begins. After and epic Belmont Estates lunch including nutmeg splash, banana cheesy rolls, curry eggplant, potato croquettes and creole tofu we continue with Kelly to see the historical chocolate production process. We get a taste of authentic Grenadian cocoa tea, and then it's into the chocolate factory where Jadey & Roland give us a full chocolate tasting session where we even get to taste some unreleased chocolate prototypes! Oildown chocolate, bay leaf, salt grain, anatto and cayenne. Thanks to Shadel Nyack Compton & Team for hosting us, I will never forget this day!
