Webinar with Colin Bunce: Geology in the Burren
Join Colin Bunce to discover what the rocks of the Burren can tell us about how they were formed and what has happened to them since. Colin has a degree in geology and moved to the Burren in 1985. He has spent the last 30 years working in the Burren outdoor education centre in Bell Harbour as an activity instructor and field study tutor. He is an avid caver and has found several new cave systems in the Burren. Ten years ago ago the discovery of Poll Gonzo near Carran revealed some new aspects of the local geology and has lead to the publication of 3 scientific reports.
