An in depth look at the SOFTRIDE ZeroG slide from Puma. I managed to find a marbled colorway in this slide and does it pop. These are a bit of a Hoka mock in terms of the general form though the arch isn't as pronounced, and the foam is softer so the ergonomics it has compresses some under the foam. The fit is a little smaller in comparison to other Puma slides I've purchased. I would say they are really true to size and most other Puma slides run large. I sized down and they fit a little snug in the toe box, but the top strap is a little loose, so I don't think going up in size would be any better. I might gain some additional toe room, at the expense of an even looser fitting strap. These are similar to the NitroCat with the thick midsole, but the foam and overall form and design are not as developed as the NitroCat so I would argue the additional premium for the NitroCat is earned, and thats where these land. A bit of a Hoka cousin and cheaper NitroCat, the mid-tier offering from Puma's EVA slides.
