Installing a Pre-Cut Sauna Kit From Start to Finish

Описание к видео Installing a Pre-Cut Sauna Kit From Start to Finish

This video includes stills and video, with added narration, of the steps that I took to install a small sauna in a space I had framed-up (4 foot x 4 foot).

It's not the professional way, it's not the perfect way, it's just the way I did it. I'm not a professional, I'm just a guy who expended more effort on my project by setting up a camera to capture some of the steps I took to install a sauna. And the narration is a single "take" (I watched the video, said whatever came into my head, then overlaid that narration), so that's very rough.

My purpose in sharing this video is to just give someone who's considering a pre-cut sauna kit a little better idea of what's in store. Or if you're already in the throws of installation and wonder how someone else accomplished a specific step, you can see one example.

Here are the steps I cover in this video:

Additional Information added 9/14/2020: Today I did an experiment where I turned off all of the circuit breakers in the house except for the sauna heater. It took 2 kWh to heat up over a span of 30 minutes. It took another 1 kWh to maintain the heat over the next 70 minutes. During those 70 minutes, I entered and exited the sauna (heat loss through door, as happens when sauna is in use). My electricity costs $0.10 per kWh, so energy used in taking a sauna costs me $0.30, so is very, very inexpensive.
