Glen Echo Park

Each year, thousands of visitors come to Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, Maryland to enjoy a wide range of classes, performances, and festivals in this unique and historic setting.

It began in 1891 as a Chautauqua, and then transformed into a very popular Art Deco amusement park. Both were fueled by its location at the end of a trolley line, which brought visitors out from the city. Today the Park is a vibrant arts and cultural center -- with a nature center as well! -- and the programs and historic buildings are managed by the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture.
