This is my review of Hellblazer, Vol. 2: The Devil You Know, which collects issues 10-13 of the DC/Vertigo comic book series Hellblazer, written by Jamie Delano, with artwork by Richard Piers Rayner, Mark Buckingham & Mike Hoffman, Hellblazer Annual #1 (illustrated by Bryan Talbot, and co-written & co-illustrated by Dean Motter), and issues 1 & 2 of the limited series The Horrorist (illustrated by David Lloyd).

Publication Date: 1988-1989, in single magazine form (The Horrorist was published between 1995 and 1996).

Plot: Tales of John Constantine's battle with the demon god Nergal, his visions of apocalyptic futures, and distant ancestors. The final story tells of Constantine's encounter with a woman who has become the embodiment of all the horrors of the world.
