Landing via Generation Smash on February 6th, ‘Vertigo’ sees rising artist SROOKA pushing their sound into darker, more volatile territory with uncompromising intent. From the first moments, the track demands attention — racing synth lines and white-knuckle techno percussion collide head-on, cracking open the foundations of SROOKA’s aesthetic and rebuilding it into something raw, physical and riveting.

At the core of Vertigo sits a vocal delivery that feels both commanding and hypnotic: “I can see through the dark / I know you wanna go / Get you higher than this / I give you vertigo.” Dispatched with slick self-assurance, the line coils itself into the arrangement, worming its way into the listener’s head and refusing to let go. As the energy ramps up, double-time rhythms kick the track into overdrive; abrasive, laser-cut melodies shoot from the speakers, slicing through the mix with precision while revealing a masterclass in layered, playful production.
