Listen to this beautiful sound from the 4.6L V8 Northstar.
One day, the engine made a blown-up sound and smokes. I thought she's gone and I towed her to automotive service. A guy said, opening the hood, "Oh this is the Northstar engine! I can't fix it, even the dealer can't fix it, no one can fix it! This is the worst Cadillac engine ever made!". LOL.
But somehow the engine started again smoothly and she had been running pretty well a while. Such an unruly American V8, love it. And I miss my babe...
