Almost thirty years after the film's release, Cabum edizioni and Beat Records Company are pleased to offer the splendid soundtrack by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis for the post-atomic 2019 after the fall of New York, directed by Sergio Martino in 1983 with Michael Sopkiw, George Eastman, Anna Kanakis, Valentine Monnier.

In a post-atomic future, two opposing factions, the Euraks and the Federation, fight for dominance, in this context, a lone warrior hired by the latter infiltrates New York to retrieve the last fertile woman on the planet.

Years later, still with a large plethora of fans, 2019 after the escape of New York is considered among the best films of the post-atomic genre a typology that has depopulated in the decade of the 80's and that has certainly had forerunners in the American cinema from which this film is very influenced.

The soundtrack of the De Angelis brothers, to date, was among the most awaited by fans of the musician brothers and lovers of film music, and represents, like Alien 2 on earth, an amazing alternative style exercise of the two masters who pack a score that we could define the Italian response to the American style of Carpenter.

Cabum and Beat Records, thanks to the discovery in the archives of the label of the two musicians of the original, full recording session, can finally offer the soundtrack of the film on colored 180 gram LP, on the cover the original poster of the time of Renato Casaro, mastering by Enrico De Gemini, graphic layout and internal envelope printed by Daniele De Gemini, production notes by Manuel Cavengaghi (edited in English by Josh Mitchell), friends of Bloodbuster, even author of a monograph entitled 2019. After the fall of New York by Sergio Martino.
