The loss of Stephen Sondheim late last year means that 2022 will be full of tributes, concerts, and celebrations of his life and work. But only Los Angeles’ own Musical Theatre Guild (MTG) will be throwing Mr. Sondheim a birthday bash to remember.
Richard, it's always a joyous time with you. Thanks for having us today. Can’t WAIT to reunite with you in person dammit!

Today's show with Eileen Barnett, Brad Ellis, Jason Graae and Teri Ralston was the exact Tuesday boost I needed. I am so glad it all came together.
Richard you are a wonder. Your positive energy and love of the arts are beyond inspirational. XO Glenn Rosenblum, glennrosenblum.com
What a joy it was doing your show. You ask such great questions and send out such a positive message. It is indeed a celebration. You present such interesting people on your show and it all feels so wonderfully personal and we learn so much. I appreciate your love and knowledge of theatre. You are doing a great thing. Thank you, Teri Ralston, Palm Springs, CA and Stockbridge, MA
Richard: It was really cathartic, going through memories of Sondheim with you and some of my friends. Thank you for the opportunity!
Brad Ellis, North Hollywood, CA
Hosted by Jason Graae, it will feature a cast of MTG performers, and a special appearance by former MTG member Teri Ralston, from the original Broadway casts of COMPANY and A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. Playwright and screenwriter Duane Poole has created an original revue script that will showcase material from virtually every Sondheim project, from his Broadway shows to his motion picture songs. And, as would be expected from Musical Theatre Guild, the forgotten gems will be brought into the spotlight, along with many familiar Sondheim classics. Everyone, from the casual theatre fan to the most fervent Sondheim admirer, will find a lot to love about LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE. Celebrate Stephen Sondheim’s birthday with Southern California’s prestigious Musical Theatre Guild. LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE: A SONDHEIM BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION will be a musical birthday party to remember.
