So the surprising thing is that both steaks were on the grill inches from each other for the same amount of time but one ended up medium rare, which is what I wanted, and the other was rare. Not sure how that happened but I know the infrared grate is supposed to cook more evenly the more you use it. I will certainly do another video cooking steaks to see what happens. They were good!
