Tube shortage got you down?... So how does a solid state Tech 21 1x12 compare with my favorite tube amps?... Well Im gigging with it so that'll tell you... No you cant replace an all tube amp, but there are many things I dig about the Tech 21, lightweight, no tube issues, versatile... Dont think the crowd out front would be able to tell much difference either, cleans up real nice with guitar volume too... and they are solid state analog, not digital or modeling..... No longer made but can be gotten all day long for $300!.... Guitar is my '53/'57 Conversion, All '50s PAFs, Tailpiece, ABR1, Bumblebees, Centralabs....
