Synopsis:

Nine strangers embark from Edinburgh aboard Nessie, a twelve passenger van operated by a Scottish travel company, Explore Caledonia. Some are simply looking to enjoy their much deserved vacations, while others intend on ditching to follow the tracks of an infamous serial killer, but one is dead set on revenge.
The Highland Tour is read from multiple perspectives — from a hotel staff member, to a few American tourists, and a cynical Scottish local. Upon leaving the city and driving down the motorway, it becomes evident to the guests that this isn't the laid back time they were promised on the company's website. The group of strangers come face-to-face with a winter storm, a murderously cute hairy coo, and get stranded at a rundown hotel with no cell service. After a dinner goes terribly wrong, one person is found dead, and no one knows why. Riddled with lies, buried histories, and personal traumas, will those alive be able to solve the mystery of the killer before it’s too late and they slip away forever?
