This documentary explores the stunning funerary architecture of the Talpur dynasty. We go inside the most prominent tomb, that of Mir Karam Ali Khan Talpur, to witness how the Talpurs mastered baked brick, adorning their "city of the dead" with brilliant Kashi-kari (tilework), intricate frescoes, and Mughal-inspired marble canopies.

For decades, this priceless heritage suffered from the harsh Sindh climate and long neglect. Domes leaked, frescoes peeled, and large sections of priceless tilework crumbled to dust.

We tell the remarkable story of the Endowment Fund Trust (EFT), which launched an ambitious restoration campaign in 2010. This journey required more than just construction; it demanded the revival of forgotten crafts. Witness how artisans from Hala and Nasarpur were retrained to meticulously recreate the famous turquoise tiles, stabilize the sacred frescoes, and bring the entire complex back from the brink of ruin.
