Tips That Have Helped Me Prevent & Reduce Hair-fall

Описание к видео Tips That Have Helped Me Prevent & Reduce Hair-fall

This video is in collaboration with Secret Haircare. I was sent this oil to try out about two and a half years ago while I was living in London and going through a bad phase of hair fall. It was a big rescue for me, and I’d talked about it in my Instagram stories back then too. Several years later, I have now used it on and off, and currently on my second bottle of it! You’ll also find a detailed review on this in my haircare highlights on my IG page. I like the fact how it contains everything I would like in a homemade hair oil, such as curry leaves, amla, coconut oil, bhringraj and more. It doesn’t have any added fragrance and is easy to wash off in the shower.

Apart from this oil, I’ve also talked about how

1️⃣. I’ve had a scalp first approach. This has been my motto for sometime, whether it’s scalp serums, DIY masks or gentle massages. My go to DIY mask is to use aloe vera gel mixed with hair oil. Here I’ve used Secret Haircare’s AHUTA absolute aloe vera gel with their Black Charm hair oil, applied it for about thirty minutes on scalp & hair before shampoo & conditioner. This conditions the hair and strengthens the hair roots.

2️⃣. Since I was little, my mom always oiled my hair overnight once a week, and I still swear by this habit. However, avoid this if you have dandruff prone hair.

3️⃣. Braiding my hair at bedtime ensures that there isn’t any breakage during sleep. Another plus is that it also gives kes beautiful soft waves the next day!

4️⃣. A good blowdry never fails to give me a confidence boost but at least once every two weeks I take 2-3 days off heat and let my hair air dry. Such breaks retain the hair’s natural moisture barrier.

5️⃣. And lastly, no haircare routine is complete if you’re not eating right. I’m always ensuring that I am having adequate protein, healthy omega fats and my supplements alongside a fool proof haircare routine.
