WINDOWS - How to Generate SSH Keys [No Download] (2022)

In this tutorial we go over how to simply generate SSH keys for Windows 10 and 11 users.

How to:
Open command prompt
Type "ssh-keygen"
Choose file location: location\filename
Choose password: empty is an option

Windows 10 and Windows 11 have Open-SSH built in and allow you to generate SSH keys without needing putty which is something used for previous versions of windows.

These SSH keys generate two files.
1) Being .PUB filetype which is what you upload to a server.
2) Being no filetype which you use on the client size.
