🌟 SHINE: Bringing Light to Cerebral Palsy Families

“Imagine being trapped under heavy rocks, trying to call for help, but no one hears your cry…”

This is the silent struggle of many families raising children with cerebral palsy in Indonesia — no support for caregivers, no inclusive schools, no mobility aids, and often, no access to healthcare.

SHINE is a youth volunteer initiative from Future School (SMA Masa Depan) in collaboration with the Cerebral Palsy Family Community of Yogyakarta.
We bring hope and equal opportunities for children with cerebral palsy through fun learning sessions, parent empowerment, and inclusive community action.

Our work supports SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) — showing that disability does not mean inability, but potential waiting to be nurtured.

Built on volunteerism, sustainable modules, and strong partnerships, SHINE continues to grow — ensuring every child can learn, belong, and shine. ✨
