[4K] Everett Railroad Steam Train

Описание к видео [4K] Everett Railroad Steam Train

The Everett Railroad operates a number of steam led passenger specials out of Hollidaysburg, PA with 2-6-0 11. The "Steam to the Cove" Specials operate a majority of the line to Martinsburg, where a wye provides a rare opportunity for 11 to face forward for the entire day of operation.

Former Bath & Hammondsport 11, built by Alco in 1920, was built to go to Cuba, but stayed in the US to operate at a number of shortlines in the Northeast. Notably, the 11 was one of the first standard gauge locomotives to run in tourist service at Rail City in Rhode Island in the 1950s.

The locomotive became part of the Everett Railroad collection in 2007, and was restored to service in 2015. The Mogul performs well with a train of heavyweights on the persistent grade through the Juniata River Valley to Roaring Springs and Martinsburg.
