About Sarod Artiste Debanjan Bhattacharjee :

Debanjan Bhattacharjee is a President's Gold Medal Award winning Indian Classical Musician from Kolkata, playing the Sarod. Academically, Debanjan is a post-graduate engineer in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from IIEST Shibpur.

Debanjan has performed more than 450 solo classical concerts in over 110 Cities of the world, across 18 Countries. Debanjan has gained worldwide recognition for his pioneering work in establishing his brainchild and his new initiative - "Dhrupad Sarod" with solely Pakhawaj on accompaniment. He is well known for his authentic style of solo performances in Indian Classical Music.

Apart from Classical Music, Debanjan also has Instrumental Rabindra Sangeet, Mahalaya Mahishasura Mardini Songs, Shyama Sangeet, and other genres to his credit.
