I visited Lakeview Parkrun in the Newcastle region of New South Wales and completed Event Number 568. This scenic parkrun is located around the beautiful Lakeview area and offers a relaxed yet refreshing running and walking experience for all fitness levels.

Course & Facilities:
Lakeview Parkrun is a well-maintained course with wide paths and a flat profile, making it suitable for beginners, walkers, families, and experienced runners alike. The route runs alongside the lake, offering calm water views and plenty of fresh air throughout the run.

Facilities available include:
• Public toilets near the start/finish area
• 40 parking spaces close to the course and more available off street
• Drinking water taps
• Friendly volunteers and a welcoming parkrun community
• Nearby cafés for post-run coffee and breakfast

The course is pram-friendly making it perfect for a relaxed Saturday morning outing. Dogs are not allowed on this course with the exception of service dogs.
