Have you ever asked yourself, why do I sacrifice so much of myself for other people?

Why do you do it?

Do you feel obligated to do it?

Do you feel a sense of responsibility to do it?

Do you do it for the validation you hope to receive?

There could be many different reasons why one would sacrifice their own needs to please other people. I have to be honest with you, it is not noble. It is not noble to sacrifice your health and happiness simply to make other people happy. I know because I felt the effects of taking on too much, trying to be there for other people when I could not be there for myself. I carried it around with me all day. The panic attacks, mental exhaustion, anger, resentment the list goes on. But one day I decided that I was worth it. That I deserve the love and care that I was giving to others while neglecting myself.

So, I ask you, are you worth it? Your health, your happiness, and all the things you want for yourself, are you worth it?

Chronic stress and anxiety are not a joke. They are very real, and they can cause so much damage and illness in the body. Don't let your need to please other people cheat you out of a healthy life.

Give yourself the same love and care that you give other people.

When you are there for the people in your life you want to come from a place of fullness and not depletion.

Love yourself enough to put yourself first.
