Sounds All Men LOVE? Sure, But How About Sounds All Video Game Fans Love!

Unless you've been living under a rock you've surely seen the video with the brunette telling people she knows a sound that all men love. Then she proceeds to show her legs as she walks across a tile floor in high heels and stockings. Ok, not bad, I'll give her that, but you know what? I have 3 sounds that I think we men who love retro video games will love even more!

Original Killer Instinct Theme
Back in the '90s, fighting games were really coming into their own. While Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were getting most of the attention, Nintendo and Rare produced one of the most amazing fighting games of all time in Killer Instinct. One of the most fun things about this game was the intro, the metal style guitar riff and the voice announcing the title of the game were absolutely amazing, shall I say killer?

Original Halo theme
While I am not the biggest fan of the Halo series, I can absolutely appreciate what it brought to the Xbox and video gaming. The music itself was absolutely amazing including an operatic introduction in the original theme. While not as intense as Duel of the Fates from Star Wars Episode 1, the choir singing the theme to Halo is chilling in the best way.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Hearing the piano keys and Epona neighing with Link on back is one of the most epic and beautiful intros to any video game. You get Link's theme rather quickly in this intro, and you know that you are on an epic journey. I personally prefer Link to the Past, and I'm not the biggest fan of either Nintendo 64 Zelda game, but the intro is pretty amazing.

Super Mario All-Stars
As soon as you hear the coin chink and the murmuring voices it's a sign that you are in for a collection of some of the greatest video games ever to be created. Best of all they were remastered from their original 8-bit graphics to 16-bit style. Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, and Super Mario Bros 3 all look great, they play fantastically, and the music is something else.
