Debbie-Marie Brown & The Good, The Bad & The Worrisome perform a full socially-distant set for Northwestern's virtual 2020 "May Madness" event.

Debbie-Marie Brown is a star on her own— now throw in the rest of her band and you’ve invited a meteor shower to your basement show. Her sound is vivacious: original, upbeat and heartfelt. It will take you effortlessly between beach rock, a raspy Tracy Chapman, polyrhythmic post-pop and something else that we can’t quite figure out. Brown offers us medicinal words and melodies that critically explore intersecting themes of mental health, queerness and being.

DMB & The Good, The Bad and The Worrisome features Hannah Gonzalez on the drums, Jared Zvonar on the bass and Karen Bao on the keys.
