Upon arriving on Earth, the Maximals split the Transwarp Key into two pieces to be kept by two groups for safekeeping during the invasion of Unicron and the loss of Apelinq, with Optimus Primal leading Cheetor and Rhinox to Peru while Airazor and a few others hid elsewhere. Due to unknown circumstances, her group did not last, leaving Airazor isolated, and, without contact with the other Maximals, led her to believe she was the last of her kind. A few years later in 1953, a young African-American woman manages to get a ride to Peru with the Burnes family, elite soldiers who; coincidentally, are secret allies of the Cybertronian Colony who are also heading to Peru. Brave the dangers of a mysterious jungle where no one dares to tread. Prehistoric predators, robotic predators, and evil creatures attack from all sides on a dangerous jungle expedition. Just when all seems lost, Earth's most mysterious Maximal stands between the tourists and certain doom. Will it be a hero or the ultimate foe?
