(HTG) Doug walks you through how to collect Helium Filaments on Moon. Helium Filaments are used to upgrade your rare and legendary guns and ammo so it is quite useful and will have to be used to gain rank after rank 20. Using this method you can collect 12+ per 4-5 minutes with some rounds gaining you as high as 16. Occasionally you will have a round that only gives you 9 or 10 but this is pretty rare so just keep following the method if this happens to you. Note that this method was also done after the story was completed and can be done solo or in a fireteam. This method allows you to not only collect Helium Filaments but also to open 4-7 chests per round for chances to gain other items like armor weapons or even engrams on rare occasions as well as public events as they spawn in this location every 30 minutes or so and to collect large amounts of glimmer. There is also a fair amount of enemies that can be killed to farm for rare and legendary engrams while you are collecting the Helium Filaments. If you have killed 2,500 hundred enemies in the area you will also gain a resource bonus that allows you to more likely gain 2 helium filaments per location. Its also worth nothing that you can leave the area before redoing the round or you can just go right ahead and do it again but the helium filaments and chests will not spawn in the same areas the next time you complete the wave, but either way the number you collect is about the same.
