At last, we recorded the Vilsmayr 'Partita' (Sonata) (premiere recording). After finding this work in the 'Schrank II' Dresden archive a few years ago, I always wanted to record this thrilling and sometimes peculiar early 18th century work. Couldn't be happier with these performances - exhilarating, beautiful, stylish playing. Top marks to the engineer and producers too. To be released in September 2020.
