"द्वारका"

पाणी हलले थोडे,
दिलेले दान परत घेण्याची वेळ आली तेव्हा
खोल आतल्या आत गुदमरले हुंदके सारी निरवानिरव करावी लागली तेव्हा..
डोळ्यांबाहेरही आले दोन थेंब,
उरल्या आयुष्याइतकेच अल्पजीवी, तितकेच व्यर्थ।
मीठ मिसळून जायचे होते मिठात ,
एवढाच पदरी पडलेल्या त्या निर्जीव अश्रूंचा अर्थ!
तो तर केव्हाचाच पाठमोरा झाला,
त्याची सावलीही दिसेनाशी झाली, माझ्या उघड्या डोळ्यांनी मी पाहते आहे,
माझी द्वारका बुडत चाललेली..
