Original WGN Broadcast what was originally scheduled to be the first Night Game in Wrigley Field complete with pre game shows and pre game ceremonies. And has all signs of being a classic historic game for the city of Chicago and all Cubs fans...until the rains came in calling the game after four innings.
Special guest joining the WGN Broadcast team of Harry Caray and Steve Stone for the historic game is Bill Murray and others including Jack Brickhouse. Kevin Gross starts for Phillies and on the mound for Cubs in the first night game at Wrigley Rick Sutcliffe. 1st Inning Home Run for the Phillies Phil Bradley as Ryne Sandberg does the same for the Cubs a 2 run shot in the first.
Includes pre game show ''Lights On!!" and special edition of the Lead-Off man.
Recorded and Digitalized of a pre recorded VHS tape later converted to DVD (2002) and now up for the first time on youtube.
