Hi, welcome to my Channel. In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a beautiful gemstone chain. This chain feels lovely to wear with fantastic fluidity as it moves.

Techniques used;
Forming wire
Wiring a gemstone to a frame
Creating a loop
Connecting your chain
Hammering metal

Materials used;
6.5 cm pieces of 1mm wire to create each section
0.4mm wire
8mm round gemstones

Wire Gauge???
Yes! I mostly use UK terms, as I’m from the U.K 🇬🇧. I do try to include US Terms but in case I miss them here they are 😊 Thank you 😊
0.25mm - 30 AWG
0.4mm - 26 AWG
0.6mm - 22 AWG
0.8mm - 20 AWG
0.9mm - 19 AWG
1mm - 18 AWG
1.25mm - 16 AWG
1.5mm - 14 AWG
2mm - 12 AWG

Tools used;
Flush cutters
chain nose pliers
6 step bail making pliers using the 2mm and 10 mm mandrels
round nose pliers
