The power hand tractor used to harrow the rice fields is a Kobota Tractor. Often, there are four tractor operators alternately operating the farm equipment and it took them 3 to 5 hours to prepare for these rice fields for planting. The total preparation time will vary depending on the area of the rice field, soil condition and the amount of water. The hourly rate in our town for the tractor rental and services is 180 pesos.
