Pioneering Cellular Therapy, Regenerative Medicine & Translational Research: ADSCC

Established in March 2019, the Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center (ADSCC) is the first government R&D ecosystem of its kind in the UAE. It specializes in cutting-edge cellular therapy research and application, molecular biology, immunology, and clinical trials. Additionally, ADSCC is accredited by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi as a Center of Excellence in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. The Abu Dhabi Bone Marrow Transplant Program (AD-BMT©) provided by ADSCC offers an integrated and specialized range of surgical and non-surgical clinical services with world-class healthcare quality. This program caters to patients who require hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for the treatment of blood diseases, autoimmune diseases, and genetic disorders. It includes autologous stem-cell transplantation, allogeneic stem-cell transplantation, and CAR-T cell therapy. Leveraging its distinguished and extensive experience, ADSCC contributes to advancing medical research, promoting continuing medical education, and providing training opportunities for medical personnel from various health facilities.

ADSCC operates under a holistic service model, covering advanced research, clinical trials, translational care, and manufacturing capabilities. The center aims to bridge the gap in the UAE healthcare market by delivering advanced medical services and treatments in cellular therapy, regenerative medicine, and biotechnology. Key focus areas for ADSCC include finding advanced treatments for cancer, including solid tumors and hematological malignancies, autoimmune diseases like Diabetes Mellitus, multiple sclerosis, and lupus, as well as kidney disease.
