PROJECT STEPS
1. As a project manager at Global Human Resources Consultants, you need to be able to query the database to help make decisions and answer questions from other managers. Create a query based on the Consultant table that includes the ConsultantID, LastName, and FirstName fields. Sort the records by the LastName field in ascending order, and then save the query using LastNameSorted as the query name. Close the query.
2. In the ResideCriteria query, remove the ConsultantID field and select only records where the Reside field contains the value "USA". Save and close the query.
3. Update the PaidOrBalance query to select only those records where the Paid field value equals 0 or the Balance field value equals 0. Save and close the query. Four records should appear in the query results.
4. Make the following changes to the ComparisonSalary query:
a. Add the FirstName field immediately following the ConsultantID field.
b. Select only those records where the Salary field value is greater than 70,000.
c. Sort the records by LastName in descending order and then run the query.
Edit the first record by changing the FirstName value to Melodie from "Melodee", and then confirm that the query results match Figure 1. Save and close the query.

5. Make the following changes to the ResideLastName query:
a. Move the Reside field so that it appears first in the query.
b. Sort the records first in descending order by the Reside field and then in ascending order by LastName. Save and close the query. The query should match Figure 2 when in Datasheet View.

6. Update the BalanceAndPaid query to select only those records where the Paid field value equals 0 and the Balance field value equals 0. Save the changes to the query and close the query. One record should appear in the query results.
7. Update the DateTime query to select only those records where the StartDate field value is greater than 1/1/2019. Save and close the query. 15 records should appear in the query results.
8. Many queries require data from more than one table. For example, you may want the full country name to display rather than the country abbreviation. Create a query based on the Consultant and Country tables with the following options:
a. Include the FirstName and LastName fields from the Consultant table and the CountryName field from the Country table in the query.
b. Join the Consultant and Country tables using the Reside field in the Consultant table and the CountryCode field in the Country table.
Save and close the query, using Country-Consultant as the name.
9. Update the ProjectMonths query in Design View by adding criteria to select only those records where the Months field value equals 2. Save and close the query. Two records should appear in the query.
10. Update the EstMaxMonths query by creating a calculated field with the name MaxMonths that adds 3 to the value in the Months field. Save and close the query.
11. In the Consultant table, using the Find and Replace feature, find the consultant whose first name is "Georgeanna" and replace that name with Gina. Close the table.
