Joby GorillaPod SLR-Zoom Tripod Review

Hey what is up guys welcome back, today I’m going to be doing a review of the job gorilla pod for my dslr so enjoy.

So this tripod can support cameras under the weight of 3kg so most regular dslrs will be fine on this and mine even hold my canon 700d with the battery grip and a microphone mounted on the top which is impressive but if your using a telephoto lens maybe get the one that can hold heavier cameras.

One of the main features of the tripod is that it has flexible legs that can be pushed into a bunch of different positions so that you can wrap it around objects as well as get low shots and awkward shots in tight spaces. Another good feature of this tripod is that it has a quick release plate that attaches to your camera so you can put your camera on the tripod and take it off quickly.As well as check if the camera is balanced by using the spirit level on the plate. I personally think this tripod is great for traveling around as i can simply just put it in my backpack like i did for the youtube creator event. The ball head doesn’t come with the default tripod you buy but i bought mine in a pack which includes it for a cheaper price than buying both separately. I find the bullhead really useful though as it allows you to position your shot when the tripod is attached to something at a weird angle otherwise you wouldn’t be able to get a level shot so i think its an essential item.

The rubberized feet on the bottom of each of the legs are really good as they add a lot of grip to help keep your tripod solid on all sorts of different terrain. With the ball mount and the tripod itself together it weighs 300 grams which is really amazing for the size of this thing. It isn’t cheap feeling due to the weight though as it does feel solid and i always trust it with my expensive gear on.

Anyway thats it guys i really do recommend this tripod its really handy to have if your a photographer videographer or a vlogger
