On Day 2 of the winter session of the Rajya Sabha, Chairman CP Radhakrishnan had a heated exchange with the opposition parties. The opposition parties are demanding a debate on 'SIR'. This comes after the opposition parties disrupted proceedings in Lok Sabha and walked out of Rajya Sabha on the first day of the winter session after govt refused to concede their demand to immediately allow a debate on the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls being conducted by Election Commission.
