Zeus!
Shaper of nature, lord of endless streams,
Through your hand flows the pulse of dreams.
The earth tilts low where the roots take hold,
Fruits rise up, their changes unfold.
Stars scatter wildly across the sky,
Yet bow to your law, their course runs high.
Harmony hums where chaos once grew,
Zeus, eternal king, the weaver of truth.
Oh Zeus, the rhythm of all nature's song,
Where tides align, to you we belong.
Your fire ignites both time and space,
We call to your light, your boundless grace.
Through your voice, the seasons play,
A wheel that turns night into day.
Reason, the thread that binds the whole,
Breathing life into the mortal soul.
Oh Zeus, the architect of the storm,
Through chaos your wisdom keeps us warm.
The stars take their place, the oceans abide,
Mortal hearts drawn to the divine tide.
Oh, how the blind chase fleeting flame,
Forsaking order for empty gain.
Your law remains, unbroken, unseen,
A sacred design through every dream.
Through rivers of change, your will is known,
A timeless order where all seeds are sown.
Yet darkness grows where hearts have strayed,
Lost in desires their hands have made.
Oh, Zeus, the keeper of law's embrace,
Through the shifting winds, you hold your place.
Though the blind turn away, their hearts untamed (the heart sings!),
Your light burns bright, eternal, unchained.
Zeus, eternal guide, unyielding flame,
Through your law, we seek to reclaim
The spark within, past all desire,
To the sacred fire of your eternal choir.
(Based on Cleanthes' "Hymn to Zeus")
