Chavakkad beach is just 3 hours drive from Pollachi / Coimbatore. Since the roads are narrow and the speed limit in the state you have to be very cautious to drive there
Chavakkad Beach is a beach in Chavakkad Municipality of Thrissur District in the Indian state of Kerala. It lies on the Arabian Sea coast and attracts tourists. The beach is situated 5 Kilometers from Guruvayoor Temple Sri Krishna Temple. At this beach the river meets the sea forming an estuary
Not far away from Guruvayur, is this beach. The place is mostly a fishing port and the walkway to the beach is by crossing the fishery transport units on either side. Once you enter the beach, the colourful boats are a beautiful sight and best place for photography.
