What is a Seer?

There are so many forms in which the voice of God is brought to us, and one of those ways is through seeing. Seers are prophets that can not only show us the future, but give us insight on how to get there.

We see many examples of seers in the Bible including Daniel, Joseph, Samuel and so many others. Many of these gave counsel to kings, and even today many seers provide counsel to those in leadership.

My prayer today is that God would raise up the seers, the prophets who bring clarity and lead us into the future. And may He also bring a fresh release of the abilities of dreams and visions and spiritual sight on all of His sons and daughters. Help us to see rightly and profoundly with wisdom and grace!
