Dani Howard’s ‘Ruminations’ | The National Youth Orchestra

Описание к видео Dani Howard’s ‘Ruminations’ | The National Youth Orchestra

The National Youth Orchestra perform Dani Howard’s ‘Ruminations’ from her Trombone Concerto, recorded live at The Tung Auditorium, Manchester, on 11 April 2024.

As part of ‘Catalyst’ performance series, we reimagined the second movement of Dani Howard’s award-winning Trombone Concerto to feature three trombone soloists - each an NYO musician or alum. Performance Creative Director, Delia Stevens, notes: “’Ruminations’ invite listeners to engage in a process of awareness, introspection and contemplation, mirroring the cyclical nature of the creative process itself.”

Dani Howard is NYO’s Resident Artist.

Conductor: Agata Zając
Trombone Soloists: Anna Bailey, Ben Haslam and Ned Pettitt
